Very nice sir!

Is that the Devcon I sent over? It sure has been a while if that's the case. Smile I hope all is going well for you in Croatia.

All the best,

~Josh

Hey my friend, yeah that's the devcon you sent me, it's been sitting like two years Wink
Have you used yours in the cases? I hope it resists gasoline and oil mix well otherwise I'll be in trouble Smile

Everything fine over here, all the best to you too!

Yeah, I've used it on a few cases now, and it seems to hold up just fine. My Super 9 has a lot of Devcon where I cut through the cases too, but I haven't been able to run that engine yet. I think you'll be okay.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread. Looks really awesome!

Ciao!

~Josh

Yesterday had a bad luck while grinding the cases, metal chip got into my eye despite wearing the glasses so had to go to the ambulance to take it out.
It'll be fine in a few days but will be out of the garage business in the meanwhile.
Being frustrated not beaing able to work on the engine, went to the garage to at least take some photos Smile

Just note that nothing is finished yet., still a lot of work to do to smoothen everything out.....

Won't be using that crank Wink

banshee reed cage vs. original piaggio

KB billet cylinder head

This will turn into a manifold one day Wink

yep, stock banshee reed cage, ebayed a pair for 10 bucks Wink
I am thinking how to make a stuffer for it as there's a lot of empty space which might be filled in. Would also like to try boyesen pro series reeds to see if there's some difference, maybe some day.

Btw. thanks for the nice comments guys, I don't mind sharing any tuning work I do to my engine.

Few bad pics (phone cam Twisted Evil )

Manifold is almost finished, just tack welded it. Will give it to someone more experienced for final welding as the welds have to be 100% air tight.

I also made an adapter to attach foredom flex shaft to my dremel clone machine. No foot control, no reverse but it'll do Wink

Nice work on the case, really like the flow around the ported transfer case area. Looks like you spent some time working that area, really nice smooth and flowing curves.
Regards

Acutally it didn't take too much time, I did both halves in a few hours but all "how-to" for adapting a reed cage took many many hours, hope it'll be worth it at the end Wink

just a quick one be very carefull on the angle of ur carb when sat in the bike with mine being a similer spec (check my thread) i had a problem with angle of the bowl on the carb and keepin enuff petrol in there to supply the engine quick enuff i ended up changin the angle so the carb is almost completly flat and havin a bigger fuel tap

just a warning
