very nice looking scooters. what kinds of speeds where you getting out of that green monster and how much do you think you will be getting out of the new set up. also do you have any pictures of that mod for the kx80 reedblock. are you using the stock radiator with this set up or do you have a bigger radiator.

my green monster yep went of the clock (over 100mph)on road and 115mph on dyno

the new setup will do around the same top end (due to gearing) should hit gears should do 130 (dyno) so mite get 110 on road
but acceleration and midrange should be crazy and will get to top end very fast

kv85 reedblock conversion can b found here if link works

Awesome work!

Did Monster sponsor any of the work, or are you just a big fan? Your scooter looks incredible. Wish we had more Runners out here. I've seen one in the United States. Sad

lol wish monster sponserd me lol .. no just an "in"thing to do replicas of race bikes over here .. and green and black is a good colour scheme so finished it off with the grafics ...

bike cost me three thousend uk pounds to build and these bikes are so addictive to tune and ride

havnt seen any 125cc scoots on this forum do they not have them in the states?

kx80 reed conversion .. flowed cases and ported barrell .. matched exhaust stub and exhaust outlet

using pm55 instead of 59 ( 55 better for midrange and 59 designed for top end)

using a bigger carb (30mm instead of 25)

will be advancing the ignition as well ,, and having lots of dyno time to get the exact setup for the street

lock system is a handle bar lock custome made in the uk

standerd 125cc radiator is fine for up 2 36bhp ... and am only aiming for 32bhp and i am not sure of the temps but i no it keep the kit nice and cool when using an electric water pump like i will be doing

that lock is sweet. i seen one other UK lock that was unbreakable. we cannot get those locks out here, so guys get bikes stolen all the time out here.
32 h.p. sounds wicked, keep me posted to your progress. i would love to see your dyno reports.

i knew a guy that brought runner 180 back from italy in 99 and there was a shop in beverly hills, ca that used to bring these scooters in along with dragster 125's registered and ready to go. you can always get the 125/180 engines and put that in a typhoon and build a monster.
